This Olympic distance has been added to this annual USAT Sanctioned race at Lake Tye Park in Monroe. This race is sure to be a great one for the beginner to the elite. This just may be the flattest and fastest course in the Pacific Northwest.
This is a great spectator course.

PANCAKE BREAKFAST:Local fireman representing Ryans Solution will be on hand to provide a yummy pancake breakfast for a $5 donation to their charity.
Course:
- Swim: The swim starts from the sandy beach of Lake Tye. There will be 6 waves starting 3 minutes apart. The swimmers will head North for approx. 500 yards, make a left turn around the buoys before heading back to shore. This is a counter-clockwise loop of approximately 1500 meter.
- Bike: The bike course is two loops. It exits the park and heads South on Fryelands Blvd for less than a mile. The course then turns right heading West on Old Snohomish Monroe Road. The bikes will then turn left onto Tresti Road continuing onto 115th where they will turn around and head back the way they came for an out and back course of 14 miles. And repeat. The bike course if fairly flat and fast .

- Run: The runners head out of the park and around Lake Tye counter-clockwise for the first portion of the run. Upon returning past the transition area, the runners then continue south on the path behind the school, exiting onto the paved trail. The runners continue south on the trail to the turn around before heading back to the lake to repeat the course.

Packet pick up:
Friday, August 1oth from 4-8 PM or Saturday, August 11th beginning at 5:30AM – 6:30 AM (pre-race)
*Early in the week prior to the event, you will receive a confirmation email with day of race information. Pre-packet pick up is at Lake Tye Park gazebo. You are strongly encouraged to pick up on Friday night August 10, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM. Packet pick-up, day of race, will open at 5:30 AM and close at 6:30.

Transition Area: will open at 5:30AM on Saturday. You will be required to affix your bike number to your bike and have your body marked before you enter the transition area. After the race, both numbers will be checked again as you exit transition. You will not be allowed to take your bike out of transition after the race unless you show your race number corresponding to your bike number. The Transition Area is open to registered athletes only. Please, no spectators or family members are allowed inside the transition area.
